Sequels Clothing Consignment Contract FAQ
Thank you for choosing Sequels to consign your nice as new clothing. We look forward to doing business with you.
1. All consignments must be cleaned, pressed, on hangers, and in excellent selling condition. The better they look the better they sell. Children’s clothing may be neatly folded and stacked.
2. We accept clothing that is in season, excellent selling condition, and purchased new in the past 2-3 years.
3. Items will be on consignment for 45 days (seasonal items are different) and the consignor paid 50% of the selling price after the item is sold. You may pick up money from your account any time during store business hours.
4.If you wish to retrieve any unsold merchandise you must do so on or before the 45 day consignment period has ended. A $1.00 per item processing fee is charged for each item that is reclaimed by the consignor. After the 45th day unsold items become property of Sequels.
5. Sequels is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of any item. A minimal item fee charged to the buyer is indicated on the price of each item. Any item found not suitable for resale after consigning will be donated to charity.
6. A one time consignor fee of $5.00 is charged to each account the day it is opened and deducted from the first item that sells.
7. Please take no offense if we cannot accept some of your items. Decisions are made from past selling experience, available space, and current inventory.
